Who it's for
What coaching covers
- Utilization strategy. Which balances to pay down first, when to pay relative to statement dates, and whether to request limit increases.
- Which accounts to open, and not open. Secured cards, credit-builder loans, authorized-user positions: what helps a thin file and what just adds inquiries.
- Timeline. Working backward from the application that matters (mortgage, auto, apartment) so the file looks its best when it’s pulled.
- Monthly report review. Scores move for reasons; we show you which ones.
- Dispute readiness. If an error appears while we’re working together, we flag it and tell you how to handle it (or move you into the program).
What coaching isn’t
It isn’t a dispute service, and it isn’t a trick. There is no legal way to make accurate negatives disappear, and no secret account that adds 100 points. What exists is a set of levers (utilization, on-time history, account age, mix, and inquiries) that most people pull in the wrong order. Coaching puts them in the right order for your goal.
Typical length
Three to six months is usually enough to see the change and know the habits. You can stop any time.

Related questions
Will coaching raise my score?
Scores respond to behavior over time, so for most people, yes. By how much and how fast depends on where you start. We don't guarantee a number.
Do I have to open new accounts?
Only if it helps your file. Many people need one well-chosen account; some need none.
Should I become an authorized user on a family member's card?
Sometimes. It depends on the card's age, limit, balance, and whether the issuer reports authorized users. Ask before you do it.
Is this the same as credit counseling?
No. Credit counseling (a nonprofit debt management plan) is for people who can't make their payments. Coaching is for people who can and want the score to reflect it. See our comparison page.
