Who it's for
Why this page is short
Because inquiries are the smallest lever on a credit report. New credit is about ten percent of a FICO score, inquiries are only part of that, and each one is usually worth a few points for a year. Companies that lead with “we remove inquiries” are selling the easiest-sounding, least valuable thing on your file. If inquiries are your only problem, you don’t need us.
What we do dispute
- Inquiries from companies you never applied with.
- Duplicate pulls from one lender for one application.
- Inquiries resulting from identity theft, blocked under FCRA § 605B with your FTC report.
- Pulls with no permissible purpose, which is an FCRA violation.
What we don’t
Inquiries from your own applications. They’re accurate, the lender will verify them, and repeated frivolous disputes can get your legitimate disputes flagged. Rate-shopping inquiries for a mortgage or auto loan within a short window are already counted as one by FICO.
Where this fits
Unauthorized inquiries get handled inside the Credit Repair Program alongside everything else, or on your own with the dispute letter in our DIY guide. We don’t sell inquiry removal as a standalone service, because it isn’t worth your money.
Want it handled?
You can do everything on this page yourself. If you'd rather have Laura build the strategy and run the rounds, start with a free consultation.

How long do hard inquiries stay on my report?
Two years. FICO ignores them after twelve months.
Will removing inquiries raise my score?
By a few points at most. It's rarely why a score moves.
Can I dispute inquiries from applications I actually made?
You can, but they'll be verified and stay. We don't recommend it.
What if I was a victim of identity theft?
File at IdentityTheft.gov, then the bureaus must block the resulting inquiries and accounts. We handle this inside the program; see our identity theft page.
